Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with an active Florida PE license to support our growing team. This role provides technical oversight and design review for SUE, natural gas, telecommunications, and civil infrastructure projects, helping ensure engineering quality, compliance, and constructability.

Job Type:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
Licensure: Active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Experience: Experience in civil engineering and utility infrastructure, preferably involving SUE, natural gas, telecommunications/fiber-optic utilities, or related infrastructure projects.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of engineering plans, specifications, applicable codes, and standards.
- Ability to independently review civil and utility engineering designs.
- Strong understanding of constructability, compliance, and engineering quality.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to provide technical oversight and support QA/QC processes.
Preferred Experience:
- Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE).
- Natural gas utility design.
- Telecommunications and fiber-optic utility design.
- Utility coordination and relocations.
- Utility permitting.
- QA/QC of engineering deliverables.

Review civil and utility engineering designs; provide technical oversight on SUE, natural gas, and telecommunications projects; verify compliance, constructability, and engineering quality; review plans, profiles, details, and calculations; seal/stamp drawings within your professional responsibility; support QA/QC and mentor design staff.
